Life unbidden dies in the eyes of tears and lies. I was not aware in the heart or mind when I began to care. It shifted and burned, a ring of fire and life, coursing as blood in the vein of existence. Why does it still survive through suppression and need? It is the most determined of foes, wary and livid, it fights me. The cold hand beckons on the back of my neck, tendrils of knowing cry out of helplessness. And still I yearn. And still I die. Be gone wretched, unwanted leader of pity, undermine the path you set and leave me ignorant of trust. I still see, yet am blind. Do not want this quiet darkness; it leeches to the point where breath escapes me. To go back once more. To make amends. To truly love you. Dying thoughts of a traitorous soul. And still it burns. And still I cry. It will never be over, it will never end.
